Product review begins with the buyer’s requirement. Available, supported product information is considered against agreed criteria so that supported details, remaining conditions, and the appropriate next step can be confirmed.
Define what matters for the intended use
The buyer should identify the category or product, intended application, desired characteristics, specification direction, quantity, destination, and any relevant acceptance criteria where known. Criteria that are not yet known can be discussed rather than treated as mandatory.

Each material needs an explicit identity and relevant product criteria; the category name alone is not a specification.
